FutureSounds Festival
Join us on May 13, 2022 at the Johnson Museum of Art for a instrument-builder’s extravaganza, featuring guest builders and performers Mark Stewart, Jesse Jones, Bart Hopkin, and Corey Smythe, as well as the newly-designed instruments and compositions by Cornell students from the Music Department course FutureSounds. On May 14th from 9:30-11, join us as pianist Corey Smythe talks with Cornell faculty and students about his work in microtonal augmentation to the piano keyboard at the Center for Historical Keyboards.
